User’s Manual


1. Supported Models

Body Cameras

2. System Requirements

Software Download

  • Microsoft Windows 10 or later (64-bit)

  • macOS 10.14 or later (Mac with Intel chip)

For Windows OS

  • Microsoft .Net framework 4.6.1 or later installation required.

3. Hardware Requirements

  • Desktop or notebook computer connected with the exclusive cable provided

  • Support Mac with Intel Chip Only

4. Status

On the Status page, the basic information of the DrivePro™ Body is displayed, including user label, model name, device serial number, firmware version, team sync group, remaining storage and battery level.

  • To change the user label and team sync group, click on .

  • To find the device, click on .

  • To play videos and browse photos, click on .

  • To enable webcam mode, click on .

  • To start backing up, click on .

5. Settings

On the Settings page, you can adjust the device settings, video settings, and video stamp.

Device Settings

  • Sync time with PC: When clicking the button, the device will synchronize time with the current time of the PC.

  • Stealth Mode: Turn on/off the stealth mode. When the stealth mode is on, the light indicators and buzzer are disabled.

    • Available options: OFF / ON
  • LED Indicator: Turn on/off the light indicators during video recording.

    • Available options: OFF / ON
  • Buzzer: Turn on/off the buzzer during video recording and power on/off.

    • Available options: OFF / ON
  • Vibrator: Turn on/off the vibrator during video recording and power on/off.

    • Available options: OFF / ON
  • Snapshot Button: Set the snapshot button long-pressed state to turn on the infrared LED(only supported by DrivePro Body 30/10) / enable Wi-Fi function(only supported by DrivePro Body 20/52) or audio record.

    • Available options: Infrared LED(only supported by DrivePro Body 30/10) or Wi-Fi function(only supported by DrivePro Body 20/52) / Audio Recording
  • Infrared LED(only supported by DrivePro Body 30/10): Select to activate the Infrared LED manually or automatically.

    • Available options: Manual / Auto
  • Audio Sampling Rate: Set the audio sampling rate format of the file.

    • Available options: 22050Hz / 24000Hz / 32000Hz / 44100Hz / 48000Hz
  • Reset Using Function Buttons: Press the power button and snapshot button at the same time for five seconds to format and reset the device to the factory state. (default is OFF)

Video Settings

  • Resolution: Set the resolution/quality for video recording.

    • Available options: 1080p/60fps / 1080p/30fps / 720p/60fps / 720p/30fps / 480p
  • Video Format: Set the recording format of each recorded video file.

    • Available options: MOV / MP4
  • Loop Recording: Overwrite the old video files with new ones.

    • Available options: ON / OFF
  • Video Length: Set the recording length of each recorded video file.

    • Available options: 3 mins / 5 mins / 10 mins
  • Light Frequency: Select the appropriate frequency to avoid flashing A/C light.

    • Available options: 50Hz / 60Hz
  • Microphone: Turn on/off the microphone during video recording.

    • Available options: ON / OFF
  • Default Recording Mode(only supported by DrivePro Body 30/60/70): Select the default recording mode.

    • Available options: Buffering mode / Recording mode
  • Buffered Video Length(only supported by DrivePro Body 30/60/70): Set the buffered video length to record footage that happens prior to switching to Recording mode.

    • Available options: 30 secs / 60 secs / 90 secs / 120 secs
  • Buffering Recording Audio(only supported by DrivePro Body 30/60/70): Turn on/off the microphone during buffering mode.

    • Available options: ON / OFF

Video Stamp

  • Video Stamp: Display the time of the event being recorded and the video label.

    • Available options: ON / OFF
  • Date Format: Set the date format.

    • Available options:YY/MM/DD or MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY
  • Time Format: Select the 24-hour or 12-hour AM/PM time format.

    • Available options: 24HR / AM/PM
  • Watermark: Display the watermark.

    • Available options: ON / OFF

6. Tools

On the Tools page, you can upgrade firmware to the latest version, enable/change/disable password, format disk or reset DrivePro™ Body to its default status.

Note

  • Formatting the disk and resetting the device will permanently remove all data.
  • Firmware Upgrade: Upgrade your firmware to the latest version available.

  • Password: Set a password for your device. If password is set, you will need to enter the password to proceed the following operation.

  • Format Disk: Format your device.

  • Reset Device: Reset all settings to default or erase all contents and settings.

7. File Manager

On the File Manager page, you can search and manage your videos and photos, or edit photos.

  • Click on to play the video on screen. Click on <img style="display:inline;" src="../img/file_management_enlarge.png" to enlarge and play the video to full screen. With a GPS receiver, the paths can be displayed along with the recorded video.

  • Click on to switch to the map screen.

  • Click on to edit the owner and category of the file.

  • Click on to delete the video or photo.

  • Click on to download the video or photo.

  • Click on to add, delete, or edit the Owner and Category of your files.

8. Smart Detection

  1. Go to "Smart Detection" in the main menu.

  2. Select a file in the files list, the analyzing progress will start automatically to identify the faces in a video and extract footage to the sidebar.

  3. Select a footage to take a snapshot or switch to redaction mode.

  4. Click "Snapshot" to take a snapshot, the snapshot will save to the same directory as selected video.

  5. Click "Redaction" to switch to redaction mode.

  6. In redaction mode, you can select at most 10 footages to blur.

  7. Click "Apply" to start redaction process after selecting the footages. You can choose to remove audio tracks or not.

  8. Wait for the process to finish. The redacted video will save to the same directory as selected video.

9. Webcam

Note

  • Currently, only DrivePro Body 30/60/70 supports this feature.
  1. Click on to enter webcam mode.

  2. Switch to webcam mode.

  3. Click on to enter the webcam test page.

  4. On the webcam test page, confirm whether the live image is normal.

  5. Click on to enter the microphone test page.

  6. On the microphone test page, confirm whether the microphone is receiving sound normally.

  7. After completing the test, be sure to click on or to close the test page.

  8. To exit the webcam mode, click on , the instruction page for exiting the webcam mode will appear.

10. Team Sync

Note

  • Currently, only DrivePro Body 30/60/70 supports this feature.

“Team Sync” is a function based on the Bluetooth technology, as soon as one body camera enters the recording mode from the buffering mode; all other cameras in the same group automatically enter the recording mode as well.

Please refer to the following procedure if you would like to enable the “Team sync” function.

  1. Please connect your DrivePro Body 30/60/70 to the computer and run DrivePro Body Toolbox.

  2. Please click on “Edit User Label”, and set “Team sync” from “Off” to “ your preferred team number” based on your needs, you may select from 1 ~ 10 under Team Sync.

  3. After the settings are completed, you may remove your DrivePro Body from the computer。

11. Bluetooth wakeup

Note

  • Currently, only DrivePro Body 60 supports this function.

“Bluetooth wakeup” is a more advanced function than “Team sync”. Once Leader body camera enters the recording mode, all other cameras in the same group will automatically enter the recording mode from off status as well.

Please refer to the following steps if you want to enable the “Bluetooth wakeup” function.

  1. Please connect your DrivePro Body 60 to the computer and run the DrivePro Body Toolbox.

  2. Please click on “Edit User Label”, select your team number, and check off “Leader” to enable the “Bluetooth wakeup” function.

  3. Once the settings are completed, you may remove DrivePro Body from the computer.

12. Preference

Click on on top of the page to adjust the settings of the DrivePro™ Body Toolbox. Check the available options below according to your preference.

Option Instruction
Auto run at Windows startup DrivePro Body Toolbox starts automatically when the computer is turned on.
Minimize on startup DrivePro Body Toolbox automatically hides in the hidden toolbar when opened.
Language DrivePro Body Toolbox display language.
Auto back up Automatically backup DrivePro Body device files just connected to the computer.
Format disk after backup is completed After the backup is completed, the DrivePro Body storage space is automatically formatted.
Secure Data Put the backed up files in a non-shared folder for storage.
Backup Folder Naming Methods The name of the folder where the backup files are stored, you can choose "Device ID" or "User Name" to name it.
Path of backup Storage location for backup files.
Auto sync time with PC Automatically synchronize the time of the DrivePro Body device just connected to the computer.
