Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend®), for the second time, will be participating at HIMSS 2019 at the Orange County Convention Center from the 11th to 15th of February in Orlando, Florida. Visitors will not only find a broad portfolio of proven embedded healthcare storage solutions, but also new products. This year's highlights include Transcend's memory modules, flash storage solutions, SATA III SSDs and a variety of embedded technologies proven to improve the performance in healthcare applications.
Advanced Technologies for Healthcare Applications
Transcend offers a variety of customized services, ranging from solutions with optimized firmware to customized products with special features also known as "embedded technologies." Some embedded technologies highlighted during HIMSS will include: Conformal Coating, a thin layer of protective material added on top of the PCB, protecting the device from environmental conditions; Anti-Sulfur Technology, to prevent sulfur buildup from resulting in abnormal operations; and Underfill/Corner Bond, applies epoxy/acrylic adhesive to the perimeter/four corners of key components on a PCB, increasing product reliability.
Static Demo - Embedded Computing
Transcend will showcase its embedded DRAM modules using its DDR4 SO-DIMMs and DDR4 ECC-SO DIMMs with computing motherboards for medical diagnostic equipment. Reliable and stable embedded flash storage has become a prerequisite for healthcare applications. Transcend offers a wide variety of solutions to meet that need, from small form factor M.2 SSDs, mSATA SSDs, memory cards, to high performance DRAM modules and 2.5" SSDs.
